Ayrshire Electronics, an electronic contract manufacturing service company. Ayrshire Electronics has been shaped through Mr. Bryant’s purchases of CDR (1997), the electronics division of Baldwin Piano and Organ (2001), Tri-County Assembly (2004) and the electronics assembly operation of British Telecom (2005).

Mr. Porter joined the international accounting firm of Deloitte, Haskins and Sells in Dayton, Ohio.  After helping to establish the Louisville office in 1987, gaining CPA certification and working on various audits of the former holding company BATUS, Mr. Porter pursued an MBA at the University of Minnesota in 1989.  Upon graduating with an MBA in Finance in 1990, Mr. Porter joined the 3M Corporation first in the controller’s organization as a cost accountant, and later moving to the Acquisition and Business Development Department that coordinated several functions for 3M’s global mergers, acquisitions and corporate venture capital activities.

In late 1995, Mr. Porter joined the group of companies headed by Milo D. Bryant for the purpose of sourcing private equity opportunities whereupon in early 1997, these two along with a third individual purchased the common stock of CDR Manufacturing, Inc.  Since that acquisition, as Vice President of Finance, Mr. Porter has played a significant role in not only the finance and accounting function, but also in the recruitment of key management personnel and three follow-on acquisitions, including the assets of the former Baldwin Contract Electronics, now known as Ayrshire Electronics, where Mr. Porter is also the CFO, the asset purchase of the former Tri-County Assembly in Williamsburg, Kentucky in January 2004 and the asset purchase of the electronics assembly operation of British Telecom in Oakdale, Minnesota in June of 2005.

Serves on the Board of Directors of the Peoples Bank of Taylorsville Formerly served on the Board of Directors of Bullitt County Bank prior to it merging into Porter Bancorp, of which he currently serves as a member of the Advisory Board.
