November 2007
- PRESS RELEASE, November 2007: The Reynosa, Mexico facility, located in Florida Maquil-Park, will begin manufacturing in January of 2008 and will provide our customers with access to lower cost production while maintaining continuity in purchasing, customer service, quality and engineering support at our current Ayrshire facilities in the USA. The facility will be managed with warehousing and logistical support in McAllen Texas. Raw materials will also be kitted domestically or drop-shipped by suppliers to our facility in McAllen Texas. Ayrshire will handle all border crossing and customs work to deliver products directly from our warehouse to our customers.
2006
- Purchased three Advantis Universal SMT lines with Automated Optical Inspection capabilities for the Harrodsburg, Williamsburg, and Fayetteville manufacturing facilities.
- Renamed all four facilities to Ayrshire Electronics in 2006 as sales exceed $100 million for the first time.
2005
- Completed the acquisition of British Telecom’s electronic assembly operations in Oakdale, Minnesota.
2004
- Added the Williamsburg location by purchasing the assets of the former Tri-County Assembly (TCA) pushing sales over $65 million.
2001
- Acquired the assets of Baldwin contract electronics under the newly formed Ayrshire Electronics’ pushing sales over $50 million.
1997
- Purchased CDR Manufacturing in January 1997.
